We process plant-based residues and waste materials into high-quality products for agriculture and industry. Our goal is to return nutrients purposefully back into the cycle. What is considered waste elsewhere, we transform into an economically valuable raw material with real added value.
At our site in Perleberg, we operate a modern facility for the production of liquid fertilizers. Our processes are certified, our logistics are managed in-house, and our operations are focused on safety, quality, and efficiency.
PK + S Fertilizer
Our "Prignitzer Spezial" is an organic liquid fertilizer that provides essential nutrients for your plants. It is rich in potassium sulfate, phosphorus, and sulfur, making it an ideal natural plant fertilizer. Prignitzer Spezial is low in chloride, ensuring excellent plant compatibility.
Fatty acids
Our plant-based fatty acids are derived from by-products and are used as raw materials in oleochemistry or for the production of biofuels. They contribute to resource conservation and climate-friendly energy supply.
Biomass
Our biomass is produced from plant-based residues from oilseed processing and is ideally suited for biogas plants. It is liquid, pumpable, and supports stable, efficient gas production without the need for additional processing.

At PDW Prignitzer Düngemittelwerk GmbH, we stand for efficient and sustainable fertilizer production at our site in Quitzow, Brandenburg. Our focus is on manufacturing a high‒quality organic liquid fertilizer, specifically tailored to meet the needs of modern agriculture.
A core aspect of our approach is the circular economy. By recovering and reusing valuable nutrients from industrial by-products, we actively contribute to conserving natural resources. This way, waste and residual materials are transformed into ideal fertilizers as well as new raw materials and products for oleochemistry.

2016
PDW Prignitzer Düngemittelwerk GmbH was founded in 2016. With a clear focus on innovative and sustainable fertilizer production, we quickly evolved as a young company into a reliable partner for the agricultural sector.

2021
In 2021, an entirely new plant was built from the ground up in the Quitzow district and commissioned within a year. This milestone marked the beginning of a new phase of growth for us.

2022
Since 2022, our headquarters has been officially located in Perleberg, district of Quitzow, featuring expanded production capacities, modern facilities, and a strategically advantageous location in the heart of the Prignitz region.

2023
In 2023, the production water supply was converted to osmosis water, and a tank cleaning facility with drying system was installed.

2026
A new project is in the planning stage. Investment volume: 6 million euros.

2024
In 2024, we built a product storage facility and a fertilizer packaging unit with a total capacity of approximately 13 million liters. We also significantly expanded our agricultural vehicle fleet. This year, we invested around 5 million euros.
VII
2025
Things remain exciting. A new laboratory building is currently under construction, and we are also expanding our facilities. The investment volume amounts to 3 million euros.
